Soak up the traditional seaside atmosphere in the magical town of Tenby. The apartment sleeps four guests and makes a great base for a family getaway by the sea. The property is located just outside the medieval town walls, meaning you’ll be within easy reach of all the fabulous local restaurants and cute independent shops and boutiques. Much of the town centre becomes a traffic-free zone in summer months, giving it a real holiday vibe, with many eateries offering outdoor seating in the sunshine. Head down to North Beach (300 metres) for a day at the seaside. The long, sandy beach is perfect for building sandcastles, followed by a dip in the water. From here, you can wander along to the picturesque harbour, with its iconic, colourful houses, to catch a fishing trip or hop on a boat to visit the tranquil island of Caldey. There are some excellent family attractions in the area, including Folly Farm, Manor Wildlife Park, and the Dinosaur Park (all within 7 miles).
A shared entrance, followed by a flight of stairs, leads to this inviting first-floor apartment. Once inside, you’ll find a cool and contemporary living space, comprising a lounge/diner. The area has been decorated in a mix of blues and greys, to reflect the property’s seaside surroundings. An L-shaped sofa provides a comfy spot to stretch out on after a long walk and a cute dining table, with seating for all four guests, is a lovely place to come together for evening meals and to plan your holiday itinerary. From here, a door leads to the kitchen, which is equipped with everything you need to whip up a tasty dinner or afternoon snack. Also on this floor is the master double bedroom and a bedroom with a single bed and another pull-out single bed (can be used as a double on request). Completing the apartment is a family bathroom.
There is no outdoor space with this property, but with Tenby’s gorgeous North Beach practically on your doorstep, you’ll find plenty of space to stretch the legs before breakfast and fill your lungs with fresh, sea air.
