Set on a working sheep farm, the cottage sits amidst some beautiful countryside with lovely walks to enjoy from the doorstep. The sea is 6 miles away and there are lots of great beaches dotted along the coast. For a great range of water sports and dolphin spotting in Cardigan Bay, head to New Quay 15 miles away. The handsome Georgian seaside town of Aberaeron is just 8 miles away with its colourfully painted houses, shingle beach and a good range of shops, cafes and restaurants. Head north along the coast and you’ll reach the lively university town of Aberystwyth 15 miles away. This is the largest town in the area and it’s a good place to spend the day strolling on the prom, browsing the shops and museum and enjoying lunch or dinner at one of its restaurants. Head inland and you will find plenty of great walking opportunities.
There is level access from the car park area into the cottage. Upon entering the cottage, guests will find an inviting open-plan living area with a mezzanine level. The decor, fixtures and fittings are all to a high standard and Velux windows let in plenty of natural light. The snug lounge area is set out with comfortable sofas and a cosy wood burner. The kitchen area is well equipped and incorporates a dining table set for four. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are also tucked away on the ground floor. The tranquil bedroom features a king-size bed and the stylish bathroom has a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail and a modern free-standing bath. The mezzanine level accessed from the living area offers another space to relax. Here, guests can kick back on the leather sofa and enjoy views through the skylights across the gently undulating farmland to the sea.
Outside is a private enclosed patio featuring a hot tub. This is perfect for soaking tired muscles after a day of walking or biking or simply relaxing with a glass of something cool in hand. The outside table and comfortable rattan chairs offer another relaxing space for breakfast or evening drinks.
