This property is decorated to a high standard, with chandeliers and artwork plus premium furniture and fittings. The spacious layout allows you to holiday comfortably as a large group. As you enter the house, you’ll encounter an impressive symmetrical staircase leading up to the main living area. There’s also a large games room with all sorts of fun activities, including table tennis and an electric piano where you can entertain your fellow guests. On this floor, you’ll also find a utility area with a washing machine and extra fridge and freezer, plus a handy shower room with a WC, and garage space. The beautiful living area is on the first floor, and can be reached via the grand staircase. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with quartz worktops and a large island with stools for relaxing with drinks. Top-quality appliances, double Belfast sinks and cookery books are on hand to bring out your inner chef. The large round dining table has room for eight guests, and can be extended for all 13 guests. The lounge area has beautifully upholstered seating, a TV and an electric fire for keeping cosy. If it’s film night, head into the cinema room where you’ll find a TV, comfy seating and a surround-sound system for an immersive experience. There’s a WC on this floor, as well as an attractive reading room full of books and games, with large doors leading out to the rear terrace. Plants, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a large skylight make this space pleasant and bright. Head upstairs to the master bedroom, a remarkable space with incredible views from the super-king-size bed, plus an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, shower and WC. Huge windows and the private balcony equipped with sun loungers and deck chairs, make this a superb room. A spiral staircase from here leads up to the mezzanine where there are twin beds – ideal for using as a family suite. There’s a second side balcony for everyone to use, that’s also furnished.

Outside the front of the house, there’s a paved area with a small pond. You can cook up a family feast on the rear terrace, which features a wood oven, BBQ and plenty of furniture. We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week in this amazing house. There was plenty of room for the twelve of us, with different spaces to spend time in - the games room, cinema room, sun room, balcony, kitchen space (with awesome coffee machine!) and lounge were all well used. We especially loved the huge round dining table with lazy Susan for sharing meRead moreals and playing family games. We enjoyed living in such a beautiful home for the week, but also enjoyed exploring the local area - the local pub is top notch, and the coastal paths and the beach (complete with waterfall) are beautiful - we even spotted dolphins! Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Hide

The facilities and fittings are superb. We had 3 teenagers who found the cinema and games room exceptional and coffee in the garden room was looked forward to. The seating and space is outstanding, so poor weather can easily be coped with if you want to stay in. To get to the beach you need to be quite active. Although not very far, the first part Read moreis on quite a steep road and the second part is a large number of steps down to beach/pub level - a bit of a challenge for a return and in the dark! We came to celebrate our sons 40th birthday and have had a lovely time. Weather not too good, but games room compensated for that. Good food at the Ship, comfortable beds to come home to. All in all a wonderful place to stay
