This delightful detached house with lots of relaxation areas to make memories indoor and out is ideally located for families and groups to enjoy the popular, picturesque seaside village of Saundersfoot - which you can see from the balcony - and further afield Pembrokeshire Coastal gems. Located 200 metres from Saundersfoot town, you can easily spend days on the Blue Flag-awarded beach, take boat trips to spot dolphins and seals, and refresh in the charming pubs and local seafood restaurants. Take a day trip to historic seaside town Tenby (3.5 miles) which has impressive beaches, a beautiful harbour lined with pastel coloured houses and cobbled streets filled with atmospheric pubs and cafes. Kids will also love a trip to fun-filled Oakwood Theme Park (8 miles).

Back at your holiday home, enter straight into one of the highlights: the bright conservatory with stylish seating, recliner sun loungers, a small table for your cup of tea and patio doors that lead out to the furnished decked area so guests can socialise between these two areas. The open-plan kitchen-diner is another lovely space to relax together. Cook in the modern kitchen with the radio playing, perch at the breakfast bar then gather to share dinner at the large dining table and chairs. There’s a leather sofa just beside for when you’re ready to laze. Retire to the lounge that’s light and bright, featuring comfy seating around the cosy gas fire in a painted stone fireplace, as well as the TV with Freeview and DVD player that’s ideal for fun film nights. A shower room and a storage room with a washing machine and tumble dryer finish off the ground floor. When it’s time to unwind, head up to the first floor to find the three bedrooms: a twin, a double and a triple (featuring a double bed and a single bed). Choose the triple and you’ll benefit from patio doors that lead directly out to the furnished, decked balcony so you can start mornings with fresh air and lovely village views. The main bathroom has a shower over a bath.

The raised decking at the front of the house (with conservatory access) has outdoor furniture. The decked balcony area (accessed via the triple bedroom) has furniture and tranquil views over the village. There is also a small lawn.

Dont stay here. Perfect location but property is unclean and needs refurbishment to bring up to a decent standard for a holiday rental

Needs serious investment outside, very run down & dirty, such a pity for a great house & fabulous location, this seems to be on going reviews 2025 saying the same thing, owners not concerned about deterioration of the property, just keep charging holiday cottage clients a lot of money to stay especially high season, if you have small children they Read morewill need shoes on decking & terraces as worn & filthy . As I say such a shame for a property that could be all 5* reviews. Perhaps agents should visit and look at this property. Hide

Fabulous location. Loads of space. Cottage honestly needs some attention as a little tired especially decking and garden could be tidier. However as a base was fine.

We have stayed at Dirleton many times due to it's location and space it offers and being so close to the centre of Saundersfoot and beach.

Dirleton is in a great location, a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops and the seafront. The house is very spacious. It is well equipped for self catering. It has a pleasant decor, is uncluttered, but with plenty of books and games if needed. Lots of seating in different areas, breakfast bar, lounge, dining room and conservatory, as well as ouRead moretside space to sit and enjoy. Parking space is excellent and the garden is fully enclosed. Its a lovely house and a great base from which to explore Saundersfoot and Pembrokeshire. One thing to note is that the bed we used was very hard indeed, which has been mentioned in other reviews. I ignored these previous comments as I like a firm bed, but I regretted it, so I recommend bringing a mattress topper if you like a comfy bed. Sounds like a faff but it is really worth doing, as the house itself is great. We are a couple with dogs, but Dirleton would also be good for a large family or group of friends. Hide

The cottage was in a good location to explore Saundersfoot. Beds were a little hard. Front room had nice comfy sofas and nice and homely. Plenty of outdoor areas / balconies to sit if weather was good or to have BBQ

Lovely, spotlessly clean house, plenty of room for 3 of us. Fully equipped kitchen & lots of storage space. We had a bit of a problem with the TV at first but soon worked it out. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too kind for us so couldn't take full advantage of the seating on the verandah. Five minute walk into Saundersfoot but a bit of a steep wRead morealk coming back! It would be a good idea to have a guest book so visitors can advise other guests of great (or not so great) places to go. We highly recommend Kookaba (an Australian restaurant) where we had a fantastic steak. Hide
