Treat yourself to a relaxing break in this beautiful Grade 2 listed stone cottage located in the centre of Britain's smallest city of St Davids. Situated just meters from the main square and its glorious 12th Century Cathedral, you will be nestled amongst numerous lovely restaurants, shops, pubs, and galleries. St Davids is packed with culture, history, and adventure. Take a walk around the Cathedral and its grounds, where St David, the Patron Saint of Wales founded a 6th-century monastery. Enjoy an afternoon drumming your fingers along to the songs played by the local musicians who are usually found playing in the corner of the pubs. Oriel Y Parc Gallery is a mere few minutes walk from the square, where you will find the National Park Visitor Centre and exhibitions from the National Museum of Wales.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is only a 10-minute walk from the cottage, providing endless opportunities to explore the coast and all that the Pembrokeshire National Park has to offer. Spend the day discovering the sandy beaches surrounding St Davids, including Whitesands Beach (2mls) which has been awarded Blue Flag Beach status, and voted one of the best surfing beaches in the country, or venture into the pretty fishing village of Solva (4mls), where you can take a tour of the oldest working Woollen Mill in Pembrokeshire. The infamous Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy (5.3mls) is perfect for thrill seekers, where you can enjoy Coasteering and Cliff-Jumping, and experience the adrenaline rush that the Red Bull Cliff Divers had when they held the Word Series here in 2012. Take a boat trip out to visit the islands surrounding St Davids that are home to Puffins, Dolphins, and Gannets.

You are spoilt for choice with things to do in St Davids, from nature watching, fishing, golf, and much more.
Come home to Bwthyn Clyd, where from the front door you will enter into a quirky property that has been stylishly renovated to a high standard and has kept all the original character with Welsh oak floors throughout. The lounge is full of character with its beamed ceilings, and comfortable leather sofas. Enjoy a cosy evening in front of the wood burner, watching the Smart TV that has Netflix, Amazon Prime, and a Bluetooth music player. There is an open-plan shaker-style kitchen with a dining table and chairs. Wonder through the stable-style back door out to the rear courtyard, where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the garden furniture, made using the Tassimo Coffee Machine. There is also a storage area should you need to store things such as a bike or surfboard. Upstairs in the master bedroom, there is a gorgeous king-size bed to relax in after a busy day exploring, and you also have a twin bedded room. Just off from the gallery landing is a beautiful family bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath, large shower, and WC.

We have had a lovely, relaxing week in this fabulous cottage. Very well equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. Weather has been good for November and we have done lot's of walks from the cottage. Have visited St. David's many times but this was the best accommodation we have had by far. We hope to return soon.

We have loved our stay here at this cosy, tranquil cottage even though the weather hasn't been the best, it has never dampened our stay. We have made the most of the dry weather with visiting and walking the wonderful coastline and stunning beaches, frequented the lovely pubs and enjoyed relaxing by the fire in this cosy place. A very restful and enjoyable break. Interest in the history of St. Davids, combined with a true holiday experience by the seaside. I experienced the joy of seeing families on holiday and then the peace and quiet that comes with school term.
