The cottage is located on a working farm on the slopes of the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Whilst on-site guests can enjoy the property’s ancient woodlands with untouched wildlife and scenic views. The area also has Dark Sky status allowing for fantastic stargazing. For romantic breaks, evening meals can be prepared, and candlelit dinners can be enjoyed at a choice of selected locations around the farm, including a woodland hideaway and mountain viewpoint. For equestrian lovers, stabling is available at the farm which has its own bridleway going straight up onto the mountain. For guests wanting to explore outside of the farm, the national park offers several popular walking and cycling routes through the mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and caves of the Brecon Beacons. The village of Llangadog is 6 miles away where there are several pubs and shops. Fishing day permits for the River Towy are also available in the village.
