Located in the heart of the village of Llansteffan, this lovely semi-detached property is the perfect place to explore both the coast and countryside. In the village itself there is a local pub, shop and restaurant as well as a castle to explore and the gem that is the estuary beach, although if you wish to bathe, head to Scott’s Bay, less than a mile away. Take time for quiet walks in the beauty of the headlands, including following the Dylan Thomas Trail or watch the sunset. Pendine, 18 miles away, is great for surfing and windsurfing and if you have kids in tow, head to the Blue Lagoon – the subtropical indoor water park that’s just 17 miles. Other quiet pastimes such as golf and fishing are also available – go river fishing on the River Twyi (1 mile) or hit a few balls at the Derylls Court parkland course – 9 miles.

Inside this lovely cottage you’ll find the most welcoming of interiors. Thoughtfully decorated and with pops of colour everywhere, the eclectic style of this house will make you feel right at home. The lounge houses large comfortable sofas, a ‘cwtch’ chair and also a fabulous open fire to curl up in front of whilst you enjoy a film on the TV. Upstairs are three fabulous bedrooms – a spacious master bedroom with king-size bed, chandelier, feature fireplace and en-suite shower room; a double bedroom with views of the garden and a charming twin – a large room with another feature fireplace. There is also a bathroom with beautiful, tiled floors, large shower and separate roll-top bath.

There is also some lovely outside space at this property - a rear paved area with steps that lead up to a fruit and vegetable garden where guests are welcome to pick anything in season. There is also a second patio area with table and chairs at the top of the garden where you can enjoy a drink and marvel at the far- reaching sea views.

This spacious well situated house steeped in history was very welcoming for our 3 generations. Everything you needed was there and we were comfortable throughout. We would certainly return.

This cottage oozes charm and character. It feels like a home from home with thoughtful equipment and supplies. The village and beaches are wonderful. Highly recommend getting pizza from the Village Shop and enjoying both Llansteffan beach and Scott's Bay, just a short walk along the coastal path.

Lovely spacious yet cosy house which was clean, tidy and so homely. Very comfy beds with high quality bed linen. Everything we needed was there, including a well equipped kitchen, a laundry room, outside seating areas in the pretty garden, good Wi-Fi, a smart tv with access to Amazon Prime and Disney, a great selection of books, dvds/cds, games, jRead moreigsaws and sheet music for the baby grand piano! There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival, too. The location was perfect for us with nearby walks and the beach less than 10 minutes walk away where theres a caf (very limited opening though) and Florries takeaway snacks and ice cream kiosks where we got good fish and chips to eat on the beach. Within under 5 minutes of the house (on foot) there is a restaurant, a pub and a pizzeria - all excellent - as well as a shop/caf. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and welcoming. On road parking right outside the front door. Hide

What a beautiful cottage, in an amazing location. It has a very rural feel and is only a short walking distance to a stunning beach. I will definitely be returning to this idilic setting again next year.
