The house is well equipped with very comfortable beds, good showers and best of all the wood burning stove and open fire. There was so much space, the garden was lovely, the internet worked very well, which was handy as we had to do some work during our stay. The tv worked well and the Amazon prime was a bonus. Thank you very much

Spacious, well equipped and well positioned in a lovely village with (usually) easy parking. Plus points: the quirkiness of the cottage, comfy beds, modern and efficient bath and shower rooms, and a large collection of toys enjoyed by our 3 year old. Minus points: the musty smell downstairs and some gloominess/grubbiness in places. The owner was veRead morery helpful, responding quickly when the central heating failed, and arranging for a plumber to fix it the following day. We liked being able to walk from the cottage to the beach and to the castle, and we enjoyed visiting the church across the road (and hearing the bells). Thank you for the lovely welcome gifts, especially the local bread and honey. Hide

Very spacious and comfortable cottage in a lovely location with a decent pub down the road, a fabulous restaurant and a handy corner shop. All the amenities you needed were provided in the cottage but we did tend to eat out more as it was holiday. There is a local beach at Llansteffan which was great and ideal for picnics on an evening and games wRead moreith family but the choices of fabulous beaches within an hours drive in Pembrokeshire meant we were spoilt for choice and went to Pendine Sands, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Barafundle Bay and Broadhaven South during our week stay. Llansteffan is a very pretty village with great scenic views of the estuary and coast especially when you walk up to the castle on the hill. Highly recommended. Hide

Our second visit to this comfortable house. Ideally situated and garden is beautiful- its gained a lawn since our last visit and looks lovely. Had some great days out and also enjoyed Inn At The Sticks and delicious pizza from the Village Shop restaurant.

We spent a week here and had the best time. The cottage is well equipped (with a Nespresso machine) and everything you could need during your stay. The rooms are large with high ceilings giving every room a lovely airy feel. Although there is no parking we never had any issues parking outside. It takes 10 minutes to walk down to the beach, whichRead more is amazing with very few people on it (have the fish and chips from the kiosk there, they are amazing). Also do eat at the Inn at the Sticks (you will need to book), the food is amazing as were the pizzas from the The Pizza Bar at the local shop. There is a great circular walk with lots of POI's which we split into 2 walks and also went on the Sunset Cruise (Carmarthen Bay Ferry) which was exilerating and informative but if you suffer from seasickness it may be best to leave that one! We also went on the Gwili Railway on a rainy day which was also good fun. All in all the house is perfect for 6 adults, lots to do and good communication with the owners. Would definitely recommend. We stayed for two weeks and are pleased to say we had a good experience. The beds are comfortable, the showers are great and the kitchen is well equipped. The bedding and towels were all fresh and clean. We always managed to park, generally right outside the house but never more than a short distance away which was great as we had two cars between Read moreus. The location is good. We used the main route to Carmathan to join the main road as some of the other roads are quite small. The walk down to the beach is easy and the beach itself is very good. We took several long walks there as well as walking up to the castle. The local shop is also a cafe and gallery which is definitely worth a visit. The Inn at the Sticks is a great place to eat and there is also the fish and chip shop at the beach. We had a really good base for our holiday. Hide
