We visited Stone Barn Cottage as a family of four with a 13 and 11 year old. The property far exceeded our expectations and was even nicer than the pictures. The size of the cottage was perfect and the hot tub was a hit with us all. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We had an amazing time.

A tastefully decorated and comfortable cottage in a great location. Every room was well equipped, which made our time there special. The lovely garden was an added bonus. Also so easy to explore beautiful countryside and nearby beaches.

The hosts were exceptionally helpful throughout our stay, and provided access information early on so we felt reassured. The self-contained holiday cottage was well laid out, plenty of utensils and dishes, towels, extra blankets for cold nights etc, everything our family needed. The little touches like Easter eggs for the kids and milk in the friRead moredge, tea/coffee and Bara brith was very much appreciated. We experienced torrential rain so had to change some of our plans, but having access to board games, TV and the hot tub meant no-one was disappointed. The folder of information in the property was very comprehensive with instructions on how everything worked, local amenities, places to go etc and the hosts were happy to share their advice for anything from cyclist routes to the wildlife in the area. Our children enjoyed a spot of bird watching from the garden Summer house which had binoculars and a bird book, before admiring the free roaming chickens. We found it to be an idyllic and peaceful retreat for exploring the local area and would certainly be happy to visit again and recommend it to family/friends. Hide

Love the property and the owners, second time we've stayed there, would be more if could get the dates, easy to get to and lovely and peaceful, facilities are better than most places we've stayed at so class it as a home from home as everything is provided, all we took was an air fryer as we find it more convenient, easy to get to Newquay, and the Read morewife's favourite Aberaeron 10/10 Hide
