Escape to this pretty retreat in Amroth, a coastal village in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and is the southern start of the award-winning Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The village has a selection of pubs serving good food, cafes and shops close to the beach which offers safe swimming. The beautiful sandy beach stretches the whole length of the village and you can see the petrified forest, destroyed when sea levels rose 7,000 years ago. From this wonderful seaside location, you can discover all Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire have to offer and with such an array of attractions like Folly Farm (6 miles), Oakwood (8 miles) and Heatherton (9 miles) you will be spoilt for choice. Enjoy the scenic Welsh coast with wonderful unspoilt beaches with water sports, or head to the vibrant seaside resort of Tenby (10 miles) with boat trips to Caldey Island or the bird islands. Lovely Saundersfoot is a 7-mile trip and offers a scenic sandy beach too. Head inland to enjoy historic castles, museums, steam railways, zoos and theme parks.

Step through the welcoming door to enter into this cosy lodge in Llanteg, where you will find yourself in this upside-down accommodation with two bedrooms on the ground floor – one pretty double and a twin room – and a lovely family bathroom with a shower over the bath layout. The stairs lead you up to the gallery level, where you will find the kitchen/diner which is well equipped to prepare an evening meal. A farmhouse-style table and chairs set ensure you can sit down together to dine. The lounge area is comfortable and a cosy space, ideal for unwinding with a good book and perhaps even a glass of wine in front of the TV. Take in the countryside views through the sliding patio doors.

Outside, there is an enclosed balcony with garden furniture, a lovely space to enjoy some al fresco dining and a morning coffee.

Lovely property that was very clean, with everything that you could need including WIFI, DVD's and games. The Welsh Cakes and pint of milk in the fridge were a welcome bonus and the information folder was very helpful. There is a lovely large area for ball games and a play area for younger children as well as tennis courts. Overall, we were delightRead moreed with our stay and would happily return again. Hide

Nice place, lots of walking opportunities and a only a few minutes from the coast, bars and restaurants. Lodge was well maintained and comfortable. Provisions for most of what you require, if needed. I would go again.
