Gather your family for a trip to Gower. This charming chalet is situated close to the beach, surrounded by Welsh countryside. It’s quirky, full of character and would happily house a group of four and their dogs as they explore the local area, sample delicious seafood and get sand between their toes – or paws!
Walk into the property, which starts with a lounge/diner. It’s been well designed and has features to make the most of the space, including a fold-up table so you can all eat together and then spread out to relax. The kitchen is gorgeous, completed in deep blue and marble for a beautiful finish. It’s also well equipped, so you can cook up delicious meals for your family or pack picnics for day trips. There are two bedrooms: one double, for the grown-ups, and a fun and unconventional bedroom for the children, featuring a double bed with a single bunk on top. The inside is complete with a family shower room. You’ll have a patio area, enclosed by a wooden fence, with a dining area so you can take your meals outside on sunny evenings.
Salty sea dogs are sure to have a great time at Oxwich Bay Beach, 0.5 miles away. It’s a lovely sandy spot, perfect for long days with ice cream, bracing morning dips or romantic walks in the evening. Gower is full of history, so why not plan a trip to Weobley Castle, 6.5 miles away, which was built 700 years ago and belonged to the stewards of the original Gower family? There are plenty of nice walks nearby too. Finally, take a day trip to Swansea, 12.5 miles away, where there are plenty of activities to suit all tastes.
