This warmly inviting log cabin is ideal for a family or a couple and welcomes dogs, too. It’s in a peaceful rural location in north Carmarthenshire, within easy reach of the coast, countryside and a variety of attractions. The quaint and cosy ambience of this welcoming lodge is ideal for a revitalising holiday in beautiful West Wales.
With one step up, the double doors take you straight into the heart of the property, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is full of light and has natural-timber accents throughout. This sociable space has comfortable seating, a Smart TV, a farmhouse-style dining table and a convenient kitchen with all the cooking equipment you’ll need. The elegant king-size bedroom also has a Smart TV, and shares a shower room with the twin bedroom. Relax in the tranquil, lawned garden, safely enclosed so children and dogs can let off steam. On the patio, you’ll find a charcoal BBQ and dining furniture, and there’s also a sheltered small terrace where you can enjoy the fresh air in any weather.
There’s so much to explore in this beautiful area, and you are around 20 miles from both the north and south coasts, so you can take your pick of beautiful golden sands. In New Quay, for example, you can enjoy three beaches, go on a dolphin-spotting boat trip, or try out some water sports. Head 7.5 miles to the station at the Bronwydd Arms and you can go back in time with a 90-minute ride on a vintage train, or drive into Carmarthen, 10 miles, where can tour the imposing ruined castle, shop at the markets and independent boutiques and enjoy a variety of places to eat and drink.
