  • Charming beach chalet less than 200 meters away from Freshwater East Beach
  • Recently updated family holiday accommodation with king and twin bedrooms
  • The Caribbean-like Barafundle Bay is also just 3.5 miles away
Property code: 88552

Just 200 metres from the beach and 5 miles from Pembroke, this purpose-built chalet is the perfect base for enjoying nearby beaches and exploring Pembrokeshire. Located on a small holiday park, it sleeps four guests in a king-size room and a twin, ideal for a beach-loving family.

The chalet has a light and bright open-plan living space which combines the kitchen/diner/lounge. There’s space to spend time together and stream your favourite shows and movies on the Smart TV, and a dining table for meals and board games. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and storage for your belongings, and the second bedroom – a twin with two small single beds – which is perfect for children. There’s also a family bathroom with a shower and bath.

The golden, sandy bay of Freshwater East Beach is less than 1 mile away where you can play ball games, build sandcastles, relax, or go for a stroll. The house is also close to places to grab a drink and something to eat. Often likened to a Caribbean beach, Barafundle Bay is 3.5 miles away. It’s a 0.5-mile walk from the nearest car park, with golden sands and crystal-clear waters protected by the surrounding rock formations, pine trees and sand dunes. Head to the ever-popular resort of Tenby, 9.5 miles away, with four beaches, a lovely harbour, and lots of places to eat out, whether fish and chips or fine dining is more to your taste. Pembroke is nearby (5 miles) with shops and supermarkets. Impressive Pembroke Castle is worth visiting and firm family favourite, Manor Wildlife Park, is only 8 miles away.

  • 2 bedrooms - 1 king-size, 1 twin room (small single beds in twin room)

This is a very neat and compact cottage. We loved the decor and discovering the felt creations in every room. The cottage is very well equipped. You really are almost on the beach, but felt quite far from shops when you realised you'd forgotten something. Enjoyed the beach, the area and the coastal path.

Beautiful cottage, comfortable, clean, well cared for. King-size bed, SMART TV. lounge furniture adequate for our needs. My only quibble is the lack of a washing machine, however, for a week we managed. You are fairly close to the pub/restaurant onsite, however, no noise was ever heard during our stay. The beach is beautiful and minutes away. You cRead morean happily park your car and never leave for a week... Hide

Lovely place to stay. Nicely decorated which gave a very homely feel. The house is well positioned on the site with parking space directly opposite and garden/ grass area to front, side and back. Beds were very comfortable and the house had everything you need. I would highly recommend the house and the area and will be back.
