Open the door to the cottage and settle down in the bright lounge for a while. Light the wood burner in here on cold days and choose a film to watch later in the evening. Make your way through into the spacious kitchen/diner to whip up something tasty. Eat in here together or open the doors on warm days and wander out into the fresh air to dine on the patio. Climb the stairs up to the first floor to enjoy a good night’s sleep in either of the double bedrooms or the single. The family bathroom is also at this level. Take breakfast out on the patio on warm mornings and sizzle supper on the BBQ on balmy evenings. Find access to a useful laundry room out here too.
Plan a trip to Cenarth, 11 miles away, to see the waterfalls and pools on the River Teifi, as well as the famous salmon leap. Drive 19 miles for a day trip into Cardigan. While away the morning browsing in shops, stop for lunch in a pub or café, then make time to see the castle in the afternoon. Head to the beach at Poppit Sands, 2 miles further on, to go for a swim before heading home.
