Upstairs, on the half landing, is the large family bathroom. Continuing up you reach the bedrooms, both of which can be set up as twins or super-king-size rooms. The garden is lovely too. There’s a patio with garden furniture and a summerhouse, and it’s safe for dogs.
Head out from the front door to explore the area on walks of all lengths and terrains, with myriad routes from Milford Waterfront through woodlands, along the coast and beaches. Whitesands Bay is just 2 miles away, which, as its name suggests, is a large expanse of white sands, with great surf at one end and sheltered bays at the other. Milford Haven is known for its beach, waterfront, and maritime history; worth exploring is the Heritage and Maritime Museum, less than 1 mile from the cottage. Have a fun day out in Tenby, 18 miles away, visiting the town’s beaches, medieval town walls, and castle ruins.
