This lovely, light, contemporary lodge is on a small holiday park in the village of Penally close to local amenities and the beach. It’s the perfect base for enjoying the Pembrokeshire coast and visiting the nearby town of Tenby. The lodge is all on one level and has a large, raised patio at the front and back with outdoor seating and a hot tub.
There’s one step up to the patio and another step into the lodge hallway. Carry on to the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a bright and bold design, a dining area with great views, space to relax on the sofas in front of the Smart TV, and all mod cons in the kitchen. There are two bedrooms with flexible sleeping arrangements – a king-size and a super-king-size (which can made up as a twin room) – and two bathrooms, an en-suite shower room attached to the super-king-size bedroom and a family bathroom. There’s lots of space outside too where you can dine alfresco or relax in the hot tub.
The lodge is on the edge of Penally, an unspoilt coastal village with two pubs and a small village shop, 1 mile from Tenby. Penally Beach is stunning and joins Tenby South Beach (1.5 miles away) where you can spend the day paddling or doing water sports. Wander along the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast Path with views of Caldey Island and St Margaret’s Island or book yourselves onto a boat trip to explore the coast. Enjoy a day out in Tenby visiting the town’s harbour, traditional ice cream parlours and fish and chip shops; you’ll find excellent fine dining restaurants there too. Golfers can play a round at Tenby Golf Club (1.5 miles away) or Trefloyne golf course (1 mile away).
