Beautiful family holiday accommodation in a central Tenby location with fantastic access to South Beach and walled town.
This cottage-style newbuild house is located in central Tenby – super handy for the beach and town amenities, but on a quiet side street so you don’t feel too in the thick of it. Practical open-plan living and two versatile bedrooms make this a great choice for a couple, two couples or a small family enjoying a seaside break. Family trips to the beach should be all pleasure without the pressure as South Beach is just 350 metres away.
This house is well designed to ensure that the space available really works as a holiday home-from-home. As you come in, you find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner; one long room that feels really light and airy. The round dining table, easily seating four, serves as a divider for the lounge area and the galley kitchen. The latter, despite being modest, has a clever layout which means it’s easy to create meals for the whole party. Sliding doors open from the lounge onto the enclosed courtyard garden with its furnished patio. Upstairs, one comfortable king-size bedroom and one twin bedroom share a contemporary bathroom.
Discover what’s left of the medieval walls, then meander the old town streets, now housing independent shops and cafes. Feel the sand on your feet at no fewer than four beaches – South, North, Harbour and Castle – and see which is best for building sandcastles. The historic harbour is a good place to watch the world go by against its backdrop of pastel-painted fishing cottages and houses. Indulge in some seafood or fish and chips on days when you don’t feel like cooking. For a culture and history fix, check out Tenby Castle ruins and St Mary’s Church, learn more at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery or at the RNLI Lifeboat Station, and go back in time at the National Trust’s Tudor Merchant’s House.
