Charming traditional Welsh cottage, nestling in a pretty and peaceful village, surrounded by the gently rolling Carmarthenshire hills. Within easy reach of the coast and an excellent selection of visitor attractions.

Take time out from your busy lives with a stay at this inviting cottage in Llanfynydd, West Wales. Sleeping five guests, and also welcoming one canine companion, this three-bedroom holiday home is well located for exploring the scenic Carmarthen Hills and the beautiful Brecon Beacons. Enjoy afternoons out in Llandeilo, 9.5 miles away, and Carmarthen, 13 miles away, and even plan day trips down to the sea.

Let yourselves into this sunny cottage to discover bright, welcoming accommodation. Find yourselves in a generous, open-plan lounge/diner, where you can unwind together after your exciting excursions, find a film to watch on TV and make your plans for the following day. Wander through into the kitchen to whip up hearty Welsh breakfasts and delicious dinners to share at the table in the lounge/diner or out in the courtyard. Make your way upstairs as the end of the day beckons to lay your head in either the twin bedroom, the king-size or the single. The family bathroom is up here too. Take a cup of coffee out into the courtyard on fine days. Parking for two cars comes with the cottage.

Head into scenic Llandeilo, which overlooks the River Tywi, to while away a couple of hours in its delightful independent shops. Book a table in an eatery while you are here. Head to Carmarthen too; this is thought to be the oldest town in Wales, and you can visit its castle, museum and Roman amphitheatre. Venture into the Brecon Beacons National Park to see Carreg Cennen Castle, 14 miles away. Pick up footpaths through the picturesque landscape while you are here. Drive 22 miles down to Llansteffan to see its castle and to go to the beach, with its wide, open sands to play on and rock pools to explore.

The cottage was absolutely great and having Netflix to watch later in the evening made it more homely. The area itself was great for walks and we got to chat to a few locals and meet Clive the donkey that lives next door. I perfect place for dogs and the wonderful Welsh beaches were not far away. In Fact we were spoiled for choice when it came to pRead morelaces to visit and eat. I had a evening meal at the local Inn 'Pen y bont' and the service and food were amazing. Hide
