Enjoying a fantastic coastal location just 200 metres from the sandy beach at Freshwater East, this stunning New England-style beach house offers relaxing holiday accommodation for six guests. Part of a delightful complex of similar properties situated in an unspoilt spot along the Pembrokeshire coast, this spacious, refreshing and airy property is ideal for families and small groups looking for a tranquil retreat. Featuring two relaxing verandas and wonderful views, this is a fantastic holiday base for discovering a secluded and peaceful part of the South Wales coastline.

A few steps lead you up to the first veranda and into this stylish and tastefully decorated property. Stepping inside, the light, attractive and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides an inviting living area for you all to relax in. The comfortable lounge is perfect for sitting back and relaxing with a good book or a movie at the end of a great day out, while the dining area is perfect for sharing a family meal which you can prepare in the fully equipped kitchen. The ground floor features both a shower room and a family bathroom, and the property also offers two cosy twin bedrooms (one is a zip-and-link that can be made into a double upon request at time of booking) and a charming en-suite double bedroom with a balcony providing a sea view. Both the balcony and the main veranda provide a perfect spot for sharing al fresco meals at the end of a great day out.

Freshwater East is an ideal beach for family holidays, perfect for swimming, kayaking, bodyboarding and beach games. The historic town of Pembroke is nearby, with a fantastic choice of shops, pubs and restaurants (4 miles). Other local attractions include the Stackpole Estate (5 miles), Upton Castle (6 miles), Heatherton World of Activities, Manor Wildlife Park (both 8 miles) and the thriving seaside town of Tenby (10.5 miles).

My family and I have had a fabulous week staying in Tickled Pink. The holiday home had everything that we needed. It was very clean and spacious. The beds were really comfortable. The location is really good, close to beach and club house.

We had a lovely short break at the house just before Easter. The facilities in the house were spot on and even better than described. There were four of us, parents and 2 young adult children. We also took our greyhound and I was relieved to see the stairgate to keep him downstairs upon arrival as it wasn't mentioned on the original holiday info! TRead morehe nearby beach is beautiful and really is very close by, which is why we picked this area as our dog is old and cannot walk far. Hide

Absolutely wonderful holiday home. Weather was up and down as you'd expect for February but the house was always lovely and warm so we felt very cosy after a wet afternoon on the beach. House was very well equipped. Everything had been thought of. A real home from home. Perfect location for the beach.

Property was comfortably, clean and well equipped. It is in an excellent position for anyone who enjoys the beach or walking, as it is only a short walk from the sandy beach and coastal path. Jacks Longhouse is only a few steps to go for a meal or drink . It is only a short drive to Tenby, Pembroke Castle or the National Trust areas of Stackpole QuRead moreay and the Lily ponds, which are well worth a visit.
