  • Overlooking woodland and fields
  • Just 1.5 miles’ walk to Tenby South Beach
Property code: FB174

This charming bungalow, on the outskirts of the picturesque seaside town of Tenby, sleeps five guests and up to two dogs, making it perfect for a family getaway. Children will love playing on the lawn and hiding behind the trees in the mature garden, and the property is just 1.5 miles from the sandy playground of Tenby South Beach. You’ll also be within easy reach of the bustling town centre (1 mile), with its wonderful selection of independent shops and restaurants.

The property is set in a peaceful location; wake up to the sound of birds singing in the trees. The cosy lounge/diner is bathed in natural light, thanks to the double aspect windows, and features plump patterned sofas and an armchair to curl up on at the end of a busy day. There’s also a dining table to enjoy mealtimes together or an evening of board games. A small flight of steps leads from here to the three bedrooms: one queen, one twin and one single. Outside, the beautiful enclosed garden is the ideal place to unwind with a glass of wine on the sunny patio, or perhaps enjoy a spot of al fresco dining whilst the children play games on the lawn.

Tenby South Beach is perfect for a family day out at the seaside. It has a large expanse of golden sand, backed by glorious dunes, so it’s easy to escape the crowds and find a quiet spot to set up camp. Whilst the little ones build sandcastles, sit back in your deckchair and admire the fabulous views towards Caldey Island. If you fancy a day away from the coast, head inland to Colby Woodland Garden National Trust (8 miles). Set in a secret valley, its colourful walled garden, winding woodland trails and meandering stream are truly magical and make a very memorable day out.

Enjoyed our stay here, very pleasant and peaceful. Nice and roomy and plenty of space. Well equipped, comfortable beds, Sky TV and decent broadband a bonus. 20 minute pleasant walk to Tenby Beach and attractions. Some may consider the property a little dated but didn't bother us at all, a great base for exploring Pembrokeshire.

The whole bungalow needs a deep clean and de-clutter. Over 30 cups/ mugs for 5 guests, same with crockery and cutlery and all needed washing before use! Bedding felt damp and cupboards smelled of mould and damp. Tatty game boxes on shelves and FBM brochures and phone books from pre-covid! Bins full from last occupants. Washer drawer, filter and conRead moredenser of dryer needed a good clean, rotary line broken and leftCertainly wouldnt recommend. However, only about a mile walk to Tenby town! Hide
