The iconic harbour has regular boat rides to the holy island of Caldey, home to Cistercian monks with a rich history dating back over 1,500 years. Tenby North Beach is 0.5 miles, a superb sandy beach backed by a promenade. If you enjoy walking, the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes through Tenby and takes in some of the most breathtaking coastline in Britain. For the history lovers of the group, the ruins of Tenby Castle is around 1 mile where you can learn about the town’s past. Jump in the car and take the family to Folly Adventure Park and Zoo (6 miles) or visit Oakwood Theme Park (10.5 miles).
