Perfect for families and four-legged friends, this home-from-home is an ideal base from which to explore Solva and the Pembrokeshire coast.

At home in the ‘Jewel of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park’, this two-bedroom property takes pride of place in the village of Solva. An idyllic base for four people and two dogs, you can gather up your friends and family and savour a break filled with leisure and play, enjoying this comfortable retreat as a cosy home away from home. Located on a quiet lane in the heart of Solva, this cottage is ideal for both rejuvenating short breaks and drawn-out fortnights away. Inside, you will find warm, welcoming interiors brightened with playful splashes of colour. Particularly popular with foodies, the well-provisioned kitchen has everything you could need for preparing family meals, accompanied by a choice of indoor and outdoor dining areas. After a long day on your feet, the bathroom’s bath will help to soothe tired muscles before you take a pew on the lounge’s sofa and curl up with a film. As the day fades into night, two bedrooms await with comfortable beds.

With everything you could need for a perfect break within the village itself, including restaurants and shops, you could easily abandon your car for a few days and make the most of this coastal idyll. For the active among you, a walk along the coastal path with your dog will be a real treat, either heading west to the stunning cathedral city of St Davids or east to Newgale. Or for the beach-lovers, you can choose from the sandy dog-friendly stretch at Solva, Porthmynawyd (3 miles), Newgale (4 miles) or Whitesands Bay (5.5. miles).

Excellent property, nothing fancy, but homely and welcoming, perfect for a family and dog holiday. Very well and thoughtfully equipped, even providing dog bowls, lacked nothing. Welcome gifts a lovely touch.
