Sit down to dinner out in the walled garden of this two-bedroom apartment in Tenby. Up to four guests are welcome to stay at the holiday home, which is less than 100 metres from South Beach, with its long golden sands and rolling dunes. Enjoy being close to the Welsh town’s many cafes, restaurants and independent shops, or head out on long walks from the doorstep through scenic Pembrokeshire.
Arrive at the building then take four steps up to the apartment itself. From the hall, make your way into the light-filled, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which will be at the heart of all your holiday fun. Gaze out through the bay window to see if you can spot the sea, play a game or put your feet up with your book. Switch on the TV or DVD before deciding whose turn it is to cook dinner. Lay the table inside or out, depending on the weather. Discover doors out into the pretty garden from the twin bedroom, and that there is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, as well as a family bathroom. Keep an eye on small children near the railings and play with them on the grass. This apartment does not have its own parking but public car parks in the area have spaces, or you can request a permit from Pembrokeshire County Council.
Choose between South Beach, North Beach and Castle Beach when it comes to planning great days out on the sand. Have a go at water sports from North Beach or walk out along South Beach to pick up a section of the Wales Coast Path. Take the children to see the town’s lifeboat station or to the Dinosaur Park, 3 miles away. Climb the hill to see the remains of Tenby’s 12th-century castle.
