The thriving Georgian town of Aberaeron is known for its sparkling harbour lined with colourful houses and has a wealth of great places to eat and drink. Known for its famous honey ice cream, the town is perfect for watching the boats come and go, or for walking along the pretty pebble beach. From the harbour you can take a boat trip out to go dolphin-spotting, or head along the coast to the popular resort of New Quay (7.5 miles). Inland, attractions include the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron (2.5 miles) and Cae Hir Gardens (10 miles).
