Set on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Port Eynon, this charming, detached dormer bungalow makes a wonderful family getaway. Just half a mile from a beautiful sandy beach, this property offers relaxing holiday accommodation for six guests. Situated along the southern fringe of the Gower Peninsula, this peaceful retreat makes a fabulous base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers exploring the spellbinding coastline, gorgeous countryside and quaint villages of this memorable part of South Wales.

 

This refreshing cottage features a comfortable lounge/diner with plenty of seating, a wood burner-effect gas fire and TV, providing an ideal space to unwind at the end of a wonderful day. With a handy breakfast table, the spacious kitchen is a sociable space and a pleasure to cook in. Exploring this welcoming property further, you will find the first of three soothingly decorated bedrooms: a relaxing twin room, along with a stylish family bathroom. There are two further bedrooms upstairs, each with low sloping ceilings and sea views: a cosy double and a twin. These rooms share a shower room across the landing. Outside, the garden features a large lawn and a patio with BBQ and outdoor furniture, providing a perfect spot for al fresco dining on a sunny afternoon. Off-road parking is available for two cars, and there’s storage space for bikes, wetsuits and surfboards.

 

The pretty South Wales village of Port Eynon has a choice of friendly places to eat and drink, a fantastic beach, and is the site of the Port Eynon Salt House and Culver Hole. The Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a perfect spot for surfing, walking and cycling, with the picturesque village of Oxwich (4 miles) and the famous Mumbles Beach (15 miles) further along the coast.

  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Tillers Cottage is in a lovely location with easy access to all the highlights of the Gower Penninsular. We were really comfortable and had everything we needed. There is very limited mobile signal at the cottage (we are with EE and Vodafone) and the wifi connection was very patchy which was a minor frustration but good for a digital detox!

Perfect house with a huge garden and great amenities. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, the location is fantastic, with hiking trails starting right at the door, and yet you can be in the charming village center in just a few minutes. It was hard to say goodbye.

Very spacious dorma bungalow, good sized level garden secure for children and dogs. Comfortable beds, very quiet location with off road parking. Possible to walk to nearest beach and facilities in around 15 mins via a footpath. 15 mins drive to Rhosilli beach which is stunning. I'd suggest doing a big supermarket shop in Swansea before arrival. LocRead moreal shops only 5/10 min drive pretty well stocked but pricey. Hide

We had a lovely break at this property it was very comfy and had everything we needed including a really secure large garden for the dog. The house is in a lovely quite location with amazing walks on your doorstep and the beech a short walk away. It is a really good base to explore the Gower. Beautiful village, lovely walks, gorgeous beaches, amazing views. Even with rubbish weather we had a fabulous time. The cottage had more than enough space for us 5 plus the dog. The garden is safe & secure so he could play to his hearts content between walks. Owner is so lovely, nothing was too much, we all wanted to adopt her. Lovely friendly generous and helpful owners who live nearby. We were treated to some gorgeous home grown tomatoes and apples. This is a big house with a big garden and ideally suited to a family - there is so much space, it was almost wasted on three sixty somethings. We cant rate this cottage highly enough, it had everything we needed & was very comfortable. It is in a great location with Port Eynon only a 10 min walk away & lots of coastal walks along the beautiful Gower coastline within easy reach. ( Rhossili is only a 15 minute drive away & a must for anyone visiting the area). The large well kept enclosed gRead morearden was great for our dog so it was certainly a home from home. Very comfortable cottage, lots of space, very warm, lovely big garden. Short walk down the lane through two fields to the beach so ideal for dog-walkers (on lead through fields). Lovely beach even in winter!

Such a lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. The cottage is very roomy and comfortable with all the amenities required. Beach walks are 10 minutes away. If youre getting away from it all for a few days and value peace, quiet and beautiful countryside and coastlines, this is for you.

Really spacious and clean accommodation and a wonderful location. A great spot for walking with beautiful nearby unspoilt beaches.The owners are friendly and helpful, I couldn't recommend a more perfect way to spend a holiday spot.
