Stay in the heart of historic Pembroke and enjoy close proximity to some of South Wales’ most stunning coastal locations. Happily sleeping four guests in a ground-floor lodge-style property, this holiday home promises both style and comfort after long days of discovering why this pocket of the world is so well-loved. Discover the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park close by, linking up with the vast coastal path to soak up far-reaching seascapes and stunning walking routes, or simply find sandy beaches to lounge the days away in bright and sunny weather.
Venture up the driveway to approach the property which sits alongside the owner’s accommodation next door. Your first port of call should be the lounge/diner, a bustling family hub with space for everyone to prepare meals and plan for days ahead. Continue through to the spacious lounge with traditional decor, a great place to curl up and watch TV or simply sit and chat. From here, French doors lead directly into a private, enclosed garden, set to lawn and perfect for children to play. Completing the property are two bedrooms right here on the ground floor: a generous king-size bedroom, with a king size bed and a snug twin.
Within less than a mile, you’ll find yourself in the centre of busy Pembroke, a traditional market town that’s steeped in fascinating history. Visit the Norman castle or take a rowing boat out on the pretty Mill Pond before finding lunch in a welcoming local pub. Jump in the car for trips to the beach, flocking to the beauty spots of Barafundle Bay (5 miles) or Freshwater East (3.5 miles) to enjoy lazy days on the sand. There’s plenty to see and do in the family favourite town of Tenby (10 miles), a place with three stunning beaches, a harbour for boat trips and even a museum and art gallery.
