This large Victorian property sleeps 11 guests, making it ideal for a family gathering or celebrating special occasions with friends. The townhouse has a vast dining table to seat the whole party, plus a games room to keep guests of all ages entertained. On arrival, you’ll receive a delicious homemade cake from the owner. The property is located next to Aberystwyth’s bustling marina and is less than 0.5 miles from the beach, with its traditional seaside attractions and Victorian pier. Keen walkers can head into the Cambrian Mountains (15 miles) or stride out along the beautiful Ceredigion Coastal Path.

The spacious terraced townhouse has a home-away-from-home vibe, with pretty soft furnishings and neutral decor. Dine in style around the large table, perfect for hosting dinner parties. The warm and inviting lounge has ample comfy seating so, after dinner, you can relax with a glass of wine in front of your favourite film on the Smart TV. Alternatively, challenge your fellow guests to a game of air hockey or table football in the games room. Doors lead from the kitchen to the enclosed courtyard. This sunny area has a BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating so you can all dine alfresco on a summer’s day. There is also a garage which is ideal for storing outdoor gear.

You’ll find lots to see and do in Aberystwyth. The lively university town has a gorgeous shingle beach and promenade, as well as a cliff railway, castle and great shopping facilities. You can also hop on the steam train to admire the fabulous waterfalls at Devil’s Bridge. In contrast, a day trip to the Cambrian Mountains will be like stepping back in time. A hike along the unspoilt rolling moorland ridges will allow you to fully appreciate the unique wilderness and breathtaking scenery.

This is a very well equipped property, with good accommodation for a big group. It is very handy for the shops and beaches of Aberystwyth. No hesitation in recommending it as a holiday destination.

We had a brilliant stay. The house had everything you might need and more. Beds were super comfy, showers were lovely too, which are two of the things we measure a place on. The host had gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house was very clean. A great location too. We would definitely book again.

Do not be put off by the outside. This "TARDIS" is spacious, clean and comfortable. It is truly dog friendly. We loved the back courtyard which is perfect for relaxing in good weather, and the dining table really can accommodate up to 12 adults. We thought the place was perfect for our extended family group.

Great locality with easy access to town and beach front on foot, and lovely outdoors options including walking at Devil's Bridge and the Centre for Alternative Technology within a short drive. Host very friendly; property well equipped and beautifully clean. We had a lovely weekend catching up with family.

Lovely welcoming cottage with wonderful facilities. Very tasty chocolate cake left by the owner which was a very thoughtful gift. Right near the front, beach and castle. There are lots of nearby pubs just right after a long walk with the dog. The children and adults enjoyed the super games room. A great spacious family holiday home.

We were a big family gathering with ages ranging from 2 - 79 years, celebrating several special birthdays and anniversaries - the property, Abbey View, was perfect for our requirements. Our host had gone 'the extra mile' in welcoming us with a birthday balloon and cake. The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very welcoming and efficient. Fresh flowers, fruit and cake much appreciated. Location was excellent close to the beach and all amenities. All our guest enjoyed their weekend and wish to do it again.
