Once used as the former Post Office of Tresaith, this picturesque cottage sleeps five and is perfect for families and small groups. This tranquil location is steeped in myths and legends and was the setting of the Welsh Witch novel. Join the dramatic coast path from your doorstep and take in the views of the Ceredigion coastline, before returning to relax in the enclosed patio area with a glass of wine.
Bask in the sea views before heading inside to relax in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the stylish heart of the home. Finished with homely decor and thoughtful extra touches, you’ll feel at ease whether you are rustling up a meal in the kitchen or sipping hot chocolate and watching the sunset in the lounge. There are two bedrooms on the lower ground level including a bunk bedroom that’s ideally suited to children with colourful details, an additional single bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom also has the added bonus of an en-suite shower room and leads out into the pretty patio garden.
The village itself may be small, but there’s a friendly pub and a beautiful beach with rock pools to explore and ample space for beach games. Catch the surf, admire the waterfall, or try your hand at water sports such as sailing and windsurfing. Further along the coast is New Quay 13.5 miles away, an excellent destination for cultural events such as the annual Regatta. The streets are brimming with eateries, independent shops and galleries, and this is a great place to join a sea safari to spot dolphins, sea birds and potentially basking sharks.
