Part of St Catherine’s Island is not open to the public, although you can visit nearby Caldey Island with boat trips that leave from Castle Beach too.

The beach itself is a wonderful place for swimming, playing beach games and relaxing, with amenities including a café, accessible toilets and a museum/gallery behind on Castle Hill.
