Single storey property sleeping two guests, enjoying a secluded location on the owner’s smallholding in the Mid Wales countryside, situated five miles from the market town of Tregaron.

This property is situated in a quiet rural location in Mid Wales, on a four-acre smallholding. The town of Tregaron is five miles away from the property and is home to a good range of shops, as well as a traditional market. Just outside the town the Cors Caron Nature Reserve is set on a vast wetland site and is home to over 170 species of birds. For those who are willing to travel a little further, the Cardigan Bay coast lies some eighteen miles west of the property, a superb area to spend a few days exploring, with its beaches, coves, and seaside towns such as Aberystwyth and New Quay. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

This property is situated next to the owner’s B&B and further holiday cottage, and yet feels secluded and private, with its own entrance and veranda. The main living area in the cottage is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is a light-filled space overlooking the surrounding countryside. The lounge seating area, next to the patio doors, has a TV, DVD, and CD player, as well as comfortable seating and a dining table for two. At the far end, the kitchen area offers an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. The bedroom is found on the same floor as the living area and boasts a king-size bed (can be made up as a twin on request), a dressing table, bedside table and drawers, whilst the shower room offers a shower and WC.

Outside, there is a spacious balcony right outside the property which offers beautiful views over the surrounding countryside, and is furnished with garden furniture and a BBQ. Beyond this, there are well-established communal gardens with a stream and wildlife pond, which make a lovely place to wander around enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, whilst paying a visit to the resident chickens. You will be able to enjoy a spot of stargazing and on a clear night you may be able to see the Milky Way.

The best cottage we have ever been. Feels extremely comfortable and welcoming. Absolutely beautiful location, with plenty things to do. The garden is totally out of this world. I can not recommend this place enough and we would love to come back

This is the perfect getaway for people that want seclusion and relaxation with lovely welcoming hosts. It boasts beautiful grounds for exercising your pooches. The bird feeders dotted around attract such a variety of birds including finches, woodpeckers and robins etc that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Location, location location! Excellent cottage in a beautiful location with everything you could wish for. Spotlessly clean and Yola and Kevon are the perfect hosts. Watching the variety of birds on the feeder was a bonus. The Hafod Trust walks are a great location.

The location is amazing perfect if you want peace and quite. The cottage and grounds are incredible with a very large and beautiful garden. The host were only to happy to help. We had a wonderful holiday in peaceful surroundings with marvellous views across the valley. Nothing was too much trouble for our friendly hosts. We fell in love with this beautiful cottage. The only noise we heard was the various breeds of birds feeding frenzically on the bird feeder and the sheep, perfect !!!! There are French doors onto the patio which was great for the dogs to be able to securely come and go as they pleased. Everything was just perfect with this cottage. Such a lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting. A good base to explore this gorgeous part of Wales and the wildlife show on the verandah was another delightful aspect. Even the weather was kind during our stay. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

This is probably the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. It may be a challenge to find but well worth the effort. This is a place to switch the world off and sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the birds and wildlife right outside the window. Our golden Labrador thought that he had died and gone to heaven!
