The actual location was very pleasant, but the accommodation was very tired and needed lots of things replacing or at very least repairing or cleaning. Furniture was worn and uncomfortable and there was a lack of essential cooking items. The hot tub was very nice but a shame that the fencing in the little garden wasnt higher to make it more privateRead more, and more secure for a large dog. The information leaflets were 3 years out of date. Wouldnt return to this cottage. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gareth was really friendly and approachable. The Byre had a great lay out and all on one level. Very comfortable and clean. It was great for the dogs and safely fenced to keep them in. There was a walk up the old drive or a couple of fields for the dogs to run around. We have had a lovely week in Ty Byre. The cottage is well equipped, warm and comfortable with everything we needed. The fences and gates front and back meant that our dogs were securely contained - we could open both front and back doors without worrying that we would lose them. Lovely hot tub with views over the Welsh countryside. Beautiful.

A clean cottage and spacious enough for a family of 4. We bought our own food for the 3 days and found all the utensils we need to cook and clean. The location is in the back and beyond of Wales. Loads of off road walking clean air and beautiful views. Dog friendly location and set up. Will look to come back in the summer.
