The holiday cottage has the unique feature of two barrel-vaulted ground floor rooms dating back to the 15th century. This charming property nestles into the corner of Tenby's picturesque harbour at the base of the old stone pier. It lies directly below Castle Hill, from which the whole panorama of Carmarthen Bay and Caldey Island can be viewed. The property has the benefit of its own front patio garden where guests can sit in afternoon and evening sunshine protected from sea winds and traffic, whilst enjoying the immediate view of all the harbour activities. Steps down to two of the four Tenby blue-flag beaches are only 10 metres away. The other two beaches, lifeboat stations, museum and booking offices for a variety of boat trips, water and fishing sports are a few steps up Pier Hill. The property wasn’t too clean when we arrived. It was In much need of some TLC the bathroom door handle upstairs was missing and the iron broke, there were also some of the spot lights missing or flashing on and off. However the position of the cottage was absolutely brilliant.

Sorry you were disappointed in Lower Albion Mrs Green. There are no noteswe were aware of the cleaning concerns. We would have been happy to get the cleaner to come back to address these had we known. We do see notes on the other few issues and are pleased we were able toget these matters sorted quickly. Unfortunately, things do go wrong from time to time.
Well equipped and excellent location.
Cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. Great views of the harbour from the bedrooms. And with secret tunnels.
Well equipped and best location.

Yes, Lower Albion is a lovely house in an excellent location, in Tenby Harbour. Thank you for commenting.
A fantastic house in a great location. Everything you could want from a holiday home.
This is a splendidly well equipped lovely basement apartment in every respect.
One small niggle, in double bed room, the light blind fails to keep out the early morning light which in the Summer starts rather early! A dark fabric curtain would be better surely?
Tenby area is now clearly a successful, more up market coastal resort and the town is generally well provisioned with good restaurants and pubs/wine bars etc. Friendly and fun place to be. The seafood is excellent too! This town deserves its busy and enviable reputation. Keep it up!
Great place to stay and unwind amazing location in the Hart of Tenby harbour.
Beautiful cottage, excellent location right on the harbour with lovely views, lovely evenings on the patio with glass of wine watching the world go by.
Wil definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your review and recommendation for Lower Albion, Mr Bown. We are delighted you were so pleased with it. We like it too and its harbour location makes it very popular. Hope to see you again soon. Carol
Having broadband was a big plus from last year and we were lucky having a gorgeous sunny week. However, the cleanliness has slipped...shower was grubby and cobwebs in several rooms - felt it needed a deep clean into all the corners. Was disappointed to find that the bath plug still didn't work from last year, so no-one could enjoy a soak. Both bathrooms are very bare and need cheering up...plus bathroom sink needs some splash back/tiles. Also, not happy that there was scaffolding and building work going on next door...no warning of this!? Plus teenagers were a nuisance 6/7 evenings - repeatedly running up and down outside, shouting and jumping in harbour, using the scaffolding as a diving board and arguing with the owner. On a positive note, the location is brilliant and the cottage is comfortable - parking right outside is fab! I feel there needs to be some attention to detail throughout to maintain the standard I'd expect for the price you pay. Haven't booked again this year due to the marred stay.
Fantastic location, very comfortable bed and cosy warm, well equipped property.
