Beauchief House 2

Great position, lovely and clean.

The apartment itself was tasteful, decorated and furnished to a high standard. First impressions were great. Better quality information about what is included in the property would have been helpful. We bought items that were included in the welcome pack as we were not aware that there would be one. We also bought a cafetiere but there was one there. There was an almost empty bottle of fresh orange juice from previous occupants - not sure if we were meant to have one in welcome pack. There is no hairdryer so I had to buy one. We visited in extremely hot weather and there is no fan. We slept with the window open but found noise on the street woke us early every morning. The views to the beach were stunning however we found the outside space was not maintained to a level that allowed us to make best use of it. The benches are old and peeling paint meant that we did not use them. Luckily we had brought camping chairs. We brought our own BBQ. We did have an enjoyable stay however we would have happily paid more for the finishing touches that make the difference between enjoyable and memorable.

The apartment in Tenby was ideally situated with the front of the house opening onto the harbour and the back leading down through a private gate to North Beach, with a view of St Catherine's island from the sitting room. It was exceptionally well decorated with great kitchen and bathroom facilities. The owners have taken the trouble to provide thoughtful extras such as books, DVD's, games and a welcome basket. Cleanliness and presentation were exemplary.

Very well equipped apartment in a great location with stunning views.
