If you are looking for a bolthole in the country, with a warming wood burner and hot tub then this pretty cottage should fit the bill. Well positioned for pleasant walks in a relaxing environment.

A blissful, rural location, yet close to a range of attractions and facilities. There are stunning walks from your door and the added benefit of two miles of fishing rights on the magnificent River Cothi. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is close by and a great day out. The market town of Llandeilo, with a host of independent shops and eateries is a 7 mile drive and offers an interesting selection of antique shops and galleries. Head further afield and the coastline meets a rich history at Llansteffan, with an imposing castle overlooking the beach. Take a trip to Tenby and Saundersfoot slightly further afield and visit major attractions such as Oakwood, Blue Lagoon and Heatherton are well worth a visit. Pembrey and Machynys are both within twenty miles and offer wide expanses of sand, country parks and access to the Millennium Coastal Path. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Enter this spacious cottage into the open-plan kitchen/diner, a bright and airy space with bags of charm to instantly relax you into the holiday spirit. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area leads on to the character lounge with sofas framing the wonderful wood burner set against the exposed stone wall. There is a DAB radio/docking station to help you set the mood for a cosy evening in by the fire or sit back and relax in front of the TV/DVD, French doors open onto the outside area at the rear of the property. There is also a ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and WC. From the lounge, head up an impressive wooden staircase to the beautiful mezzanine king-size bedroom, that overlooks the lounge, and there is a separate WC on this floor too. This is a romantic cottage, ideal for an escape to the country, mixing a practical, contemporary interior with character features and excellent facilities.

Outside, there is a private enclosed patio area with rattan furniture and a wonderful private hot tub that is for your exclusive use. There is off-road parking for one car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely cottage very very clean, in a lovely spot so very quite and tranquil. The owners are are welcoming, nothing to much trouble. If your looking for somewhere to chill out with a glass of wine and book this is the place. To top it off the hot tub was real treat. Really enjoyed our stay in a charming, rural part of the world with a friendly, available host in Muriel. The two cottages side by side were spacious and packed full of everything we needed for the week. Bravo!

The cottage was amazing. Perfect for us and our puppy. We felt safe, relaxed and fell lucky with the weather too so got to enjoy the garden lots! Muriel couldn't have done enough for us, she was incredible. We can't wait to come back again soon!!

Returned yesterday from a lovely stay at teifi cottage with my partner and dog. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the cottage was beautiful & had everything we needed. We had a lovely stay at Teifi cottage. We was made to feel very welcome and the cottage itself was so nice. We had everything we needed in it. We relaxed in the hot tub and it was fully fenced in for my dog as well. He loved watching the sheep. We went to Pembrey country park one of the days and the beach their is beautiful and very dog friendly. IRead more am definitely going to book again and would recommend it. Hide

Spoke with us before, came and introduced herself when we first arrived, text us during to make sure we were all well, had a lovely chat with us on departure. Very well maintained cottage with all appliances that will be needed. The internal environment of the cottage is very relaxing. The owner Muriel, is very friendly and accommodating, the surrounding Countryside is lovely. Highly recommend this holiday cottage.

Stayed at the Tiefi Cottage and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage was spotless and the log burner was lush in the chilly evenings. Absolutely loved the hot tub, we didn't want to leave! The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating and I would 100% return!

What a lovely cottage! We stayed an extra night as we did not want to leave. Cant recommend this place enough. Fabulous layout and hot tub outside made it even better. My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay. The cottage is great for a romantic get away. Cosy log fire and a nice hot tub. Secluded so you get a lovely peaceful night sleep but also only a few miles from a town and castles and the beach! The best of both worlds. The host is lovely and very accommodating.

Well organised and comfortable accommodation.There are no nearby shops or pubs, but plenty of good walks available from the cottage and great to have a secure back garden for the dogs. Walking in the Breccfa forest and on the beaches was great in September. A peaceful and relaxing break.

The cottage location is remote which is part of the reason I booked it, I was however a little disappointed with the lack of walks / footpaths which could be taken directly from the property. The WIFI didn't really work whilst I was there so its difficult to say if this was normal.

We loved our stay in the cottage, even with the beautiful double height lounge it was cosy. When we went it was Christmas week and there were decorations and a tree up so it felt very festive with the fire going. Muriel was so helpful and welcoming and whenever we had questions or issues she was quick to respond and sort things out. Had a wonderful time staying here. Great location with it being a quiet area but only a short drive to the nearest town. The hot tub was welcoming after a long walk in the local forest and the welcome hamper on arrival was a lovely touch. Will Definitely come back.
