This impressive apartment is set back from the bustling streets of Tenby yet within easy reach of its multiple attractions including the castle, harbour and sandy beaches. Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, it is an ideal choice for families and offers access to a beautiful garden for al fresco dinners in the sunshine.

Follow the private lane and climb the steps to enter your accommodation, leaving your sandy shoes at the door. As typical of a 19th-century property, the apartment is brimming with traditional details such as large bay windows, high ceilings and ornate fireplaces. Warm decor and classic furniture feature throughout, and there are lots of contemporary conveniences. Equipped with everything you need to prepare simple snacks and hearty suppers, the galley-style kitchen adjoins the lounge/diner where you can enjoy meals around the table and watch family films. The large bedrooms are comfortable and welcoming, one of which boasts its own en-suite shower room. Completing the property is a bathroom for long soaks. Outside, the large garden features seating and mature trees alongside a covered fishpond.

Pack your beachside essentials and prepare to spend the day on the beach, perhaps even trying your hand at water sports such as kayaking, jet-skiing or paddleboarding. Children will adore crabbing at the harbour and exploring the rock pools, and there is plenty of choice for classic seaside fare. The esplanade gives way to the cobbled streets of this charming town, where you’ll lose yourself within the medieval walls. Dine in Tudor Square, pick up souvenirs in the shops or venture along the coast path to discover the seaside villages further afield. Saundersfoot is 3.5 miles away with a staggering choice of eateries, whilst Wiseman’s Bridge is a peaceful spot for a drink at the pub 4.5 miles away.

We had such a lovely stay. The apartment is beautifully presented and very well equipped and being so close to the centre of Tenby with two allocated car parking spaces was a real plus. We can't wait for our next visit. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was spacious and comfy. Location was good - only 10-15 minutes walk to town/beach. We have stayed at this apartment before and would highly recommend it.

We have had the best week in Tenby and loved every minute of our stay at No. 1 St Marys. The apartment is far more lovely and spacious than the photos show. It is full of beautiful original features and is huge! The garden is enclosed and perfect for enjoying outdoor meals and games for the kids. A spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment in a brilliant location. We loved sitting outside in the lovely garden for our meals. It was an easy 10 minute walk into Tenby - not a level walk, but our 80 year old mums could still manage the short but steep hill. A great holiday was had by all!
