  • Restaurants selling fresh seafood on your doorstep
Property code: 81350

This terraced cottage enjoys stunning views across the estuary at Milford Haven and makes a perfect location for exploring Pembrokeshire and its stunning coastline at any time of year.

Wake up to the smell of sea air in this cute waterside cottage for four. As you sip your morning coffee, watch the boats coming and going and the vast array of wildlife right outside your window. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes through the town, linking you to nearby Milford Haven and providing ample walking opportunities. You’ll be just 14 miles from the popular coastal resort of Tenby, where you’ll find a colourful harbour, fabulous restaurants, and glorious sandy beaches. When your legs grow weary, head back and choose from one of three sun terraces.

The cosy cottage is warm and inviting, with local artwork and photography dotted throughout the property, inspiring you to get out and explore. The property has a reverse layout and cottage-style stairs lead to the light and bright lounge/diner with spectacular estuary views. Have a little cwtch on the sofa with a loved one in front of the Smart TV or enjoy mealtimes together at the dining table overlooking the estuary. Outside, there’s a small courtyard with a handy shed to store your bikes and fishing gear and steps leading to three sun terraces, all of which have stunning views over the water. On a summer’s night, cook up a feast on the BBQ before retiring to the sunset terrace with a glass of wine to catch the last of the evening sunshine.

Slip into a slower pace of life in Neyland; potter around the marina and watch the vessels going about their daily business, before enjoying a delicious homemade cake and a coffee in the quaint tearoom. Exploring the area on foot or bike is easy, with both the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and Brunel Trail passing through the town. The traffic-free Brunel Trail follows the Great Western Railway and is a lovely way to get a feel for the landscape, as it weaves along the estuary and through a nature reserve to Johnston (4.5 miles).
