Escape to this tranquil, rural location, approximately 3.5 miles from the village of Nantgaredig in West Wales, and 8 miles from Carmarthen. Up to six guests can stay at this three-bedroom cottage, which also welcomes a pair of four-legged friends. Relax by a crackling wood burner, bubble in the private hot tub or simply gaze out at the gorgeous surroundings. Plan trips into the Brecon Beacons National Park, approximately 9 miles from the cottage, and visit attractions such as the National Botanic Garden of Wales, 6 miles away.

Wander into this generous, single-storey property and find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a vaulted ceiling. Cook tasty dishes then set the table in here for hearty breakfasts to set you up for the day and evening meals to enjoy together. Settle on the comfortable seating in the evening as you play music on the DAB radio/docking station or find a film to watch on the TV/DVD. Open the doors on warm days and light the wood burner when it’s chilly. Two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, plus a twin room and the family bathroom are all close by. Spill out onto the terrace to soak up the scenery and take in the scenic views. There is parking for three cars at the cottage.

Plan long walks in the countryside and day trips out to beauty spots. Visit the ruins of Dinefwr Castle, overlooking a river, 10 miles away near Llandeilo, and the impressive Carrig Cennen Castle, just inside the Brecon Beacons National Park, 14 miles away. Spend time in Carmarthen, browsing in the shops, dining out and visiting the castle. Or have a day out at the beach; try Pembrey, 19 miles away, where you can swim, indulge in water sports and also spend time in the country park.

When we arrived we settled in and was greeted about 10-15mins by the owner who was a delight. Explained everything and said if we needed anything to contact them. Couldnt of been happier with the way we were treated. Nothing was ever trouble for the owners and we will definitely be back soon!
