For an al fresco evening filled with sundowners and sizzling treats, the lower patio has a BBQ and plenty of seating and you can climb steps to the elevated patio for after-dinner drinks. Prepare dishes in the kitchen where you will find all you need to cater for hungry guests from dawn ‘til dusk and there’s a washing machine and tumble dryer too. Weary heads can drift off in either the light king-size bedroom or the spacious twin. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Tread a section of the 186-mile-long Pembrokeshire Coast Path and wander in the direction of Saundersfoot (3 miles) or Giltar Point (2.5 miles). Spend your day building sandcastles, sea swimming or sunbathing at one of Tenby’s golden sandy beaches. North Beach and Castle Beach are the closest and lie less than half a mile from your door. From the harbour, book a boat trip and take to the water or make a splash and travel 7.5 miles to Manorbier Beach for a surf.
