A beautiful detached cottage less than 300 metres from the sandy beach at Saundersfoot.

This spacious property is set down a quiet lane, just a stone’s throw from the water front. Saundersfoot is a fantastic year-round holiday destination, with golden sandy beaches and a quaint harbour. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs along the town and stretches for 186 miles, making this an ideal spot for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Tenby is three miles away, and its cobbled streets are lined with a plethora of interesting shops and restaurants. For the more daring, ride Europe’s longest wooden rollercoaster at Oakwood theme park. History enthusiasts are catered for too, with stunning castles open to the public at Manorbier, Carew and Pembroke.

The cottage has bags of character, along with a fresh, contemporary interior. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is light and airy, with the lounge area offering cosy sofas and a TV to help you unwind after a busy day exploring. The kitchen area has all the essentials you’ll need during your stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher as well as a small dining table - perfect if you choose to dine in instead of having a bite to eat at one of the local pubs or restaurants. The spacious double bedroom is on the ground floor, as is the stylish shower room which has a shower and WC.

Due to its excellent central location, regretfully this cottage has no garden, but there’s plenty of outside space to enjoy during your stay, with the stunning sandy beach almost within touching distance. Nearby you’ll find ample off-road parking.

  • 1 double bedroom
  • 1 shower room
  • Oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher
  • Bed linen, electric and central heating included
  • Wi-Fi available
  • TV in lounge area
  • Regret no pets
  • Ample off-road parking nearby
  • Beach, shop and pub within walking distance

A very comfortable well equipped cottage in a perfect position for exploring the lovely coastal town of Saundersfoot. We also enjoyed walking the coastal path in both directions.

Excellent location near shops, butchers, deli, restaurants and importantly coastal path. Cottage is top notch in supply of kitchen equipment for those who enjoy to cook whilst away. A very warm and welcoming cottage that you feel comfortable in straightaway. Although parking is 100+ yards away it is safe and no problem.

Postman's Cottage is in a good position close to the town, beach and footpaths. It's a steep walk from the town to the cottage so wouldn't suit less physically able folks. There's no outdoor space and that would make it less attractive to me during spring and summer. The parking is a little too far away for ease and comfort - five minutes walk. This was a deferment from April due to Covid lock down and to be honest this could not have been a better choice as the weather for the whole week was sunny and temperatures never fell below 22 degrees C. The cottage is perfect in every way for a couple of any age, very modern in design and furniture, just a 5 min walk to beach with many places to Read moreeat and drink, The location is perfect for travelling around southern Wales, The owners Chris and Julie were fantastic,Thank you for a great week. We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, it had everything you need. It's a stones throw away from the glorious beach. Just wish there was a seating area outside to enjoy the sun and relax with a glass of wine. We will definitely be staying again
