Traditional, seaside bungalow set in the popular coastal village of Saundersfoot. Accommodation all on one level and fantastic garden space to be enjoyed with the family.

Perched on a peaceful hill on the edge of the lovely coastal village of Saundersfoot, this fresh and bright bungalow with waterside views is a superb spot for a seaside getaway with your loved ones. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms and welcoming one canine companion, it’s the ideal bolthole for small families or groups of friends in search of a traditional seaside escape from the hum-drum of everyday life. Spend your days wandering along the harbour or strolling the golden-sand beach, and your evenings checking out the local village pubs or dining alfresco in the property’s pretty garden.

Step inside and take a moment to make yourself at home in the welcoming open-plan lounge/diner. When it’s time to eat, head through to the kitchen to whip up some dinner for your loved ones. Get the whole gang together to dine at the generously-sized table in the lounge/diner, or open up the patio doors and head outside to the garden to dine alfresco. After dinner, enjoy a glass of wine on the patio; go back into the lounge/diner to slip onto a sofa and catch up on your favourite TV shows; or head up to the first floor to enjoy the sea views from the additional seating area in the loft. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find two lovely bedrooms on the ground floor.

Take a stroll to Coppet Hall Beach (0.5 miles), where you’ll find plenty of rockpools to explore. It’s a great spot for swimming and windsurfing, and the restaurant at the eastern end of the beach has great views over Carmarthen Bay. Alternatively, head into Tenby (3 miles) to stroll along the harbour, take a boat trip to peaceful Caldey Island or treat yourself to some fish and chips.

We absolutely loved our stay at Portsea. It was a little rough-around-the-edges - which isn't a negative thing, it added to the comfort - we wouldn't have been able to relax as much, had the house been immaculate. The house was so comfortable and homely and we were able to settle immediately. The location is perfect, near enough to stroll down to tRead morehe town, yet far away enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. We had the most wonderful little holiday. Big thank you to the owners and to Zoe. Hide
