Book a stay at this unique holiday home in Saundersfoot and enjoy being close to the beach, the coastal path and the myriad family attractions. Stroll 100 metres down to the sands from this traditional, three-bedroom cottage, which has a surprising history as the village police station. Sleeping six guests, and also welcoming one delighted dog, the two-storey property is in an exceptional position and offers generous interior space.

Wander into this prettily painted abode and follow the hall into the main part of the house. Discover a dining room, for jolly meals together, and a kitchen with a breakfast bar, leading into a sunny conservatory, where you can relax with a pot of tea. Cook tasty meals for your party on the Aga or the hob, dine together down here then head up to the first floor to find the welcoming lounge, where you can watch TV or a DVD. Two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, are also at this level. Another king-size bedroom and a family shower room are on the ground floor. There is also a family bathroom. The cottage has a small courtyard where outdoor gear may be stored. There is no parking here, but guests will be given two tickets for a public car park less than 500 metres away.

Enjoy having the shops, pubs and cafes of Saundersfoot all close by. Head 3 miles into Tenby for a much wider selection and to choose between its popular beaches, take part in water sports and even book a seal safari trip. Plan excursions out to Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, 3.5 miles away, and to Oakwood Theme Park, 8.5 miles from the cottage. Attempt a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: try the 3-mile section along the cliffs and sand to Tenby.

Although in an ideal location in the centre of town the pub next door can have bands on until 11pm and they work from early in the morning emptying bottles and rolling barrels so not great if you want to sleep. A characterful cottage in a super location next to a decent, busy (noisy) pub. A very short hill to/from the centre and amenities/beach. Lounge upstairs, so stairs. Parking is public, separate & limited, so consider carefully if you plan to travel around. The cottage is busy and eclectic, but also cosy. Many interesting items and plenty of books toRead more read. Whilst tech is minimal/older, the WiFi was OK upstairs. Suited a teenage family OK, although a de-cluttering and updating may be beneficial. Hide

A characterful property in a great location so close to the beach and town centre. Everything was provided including a fishing net and parasol. We were very comfortable and the elderly group members loved the pub being next door.

Lovely cottage with brilliant location in centre of village. If you want a quiet holiday probably not for you as its next door to a pub. However this was all quiet by midnight so did not effect us.
