Escape to this delightful cottage at Pentre-Cwrt and enjoy the glorious tranquillity of this corner of West Wales. Relax in the hot tub out on the terrace and gaze out over the river, taking in the far-reaching, rural views. Sleeping eight people in three bedrooms, and welcoming one delighted dog, this beautifully presented holiday home is ideal for a group break or for two families to enjoy a Welsh stay together.

Step into the stone retreat to find two double bedrooms that each look out over the river and come with an extra single bed. One of these rooms benefits from an en-suite bathroom. Follow the stairs down to the open-plan lounge/diner, with its vaulted ceiling and bright ambience. Spread out in here, light the wood burner on chilly days then settle down together in front of the TV/DVD with Netflix. Head on through to the kitchen, where you will find everything that you need to help you prepare tasty holiday feasts for your party. A utility room, another double bedroom and the family bathroom are also at this level. Spill out on to the terrace to enjoy outdoor living; fire up the hot tub and dine out here on occasion. Ensure children and dogs are supervised at all times because of proximity to the water. Find parking for four cars comes with the cottage.

Head 17 miles to Cardigan to spend a day browsing in its colourful shops, wandering around its market stalls, and visiting the castle. Head 3 miles further on to swim and play on the beach at Poppit Sands. The market town of Llandysul, 2.5 miles from the cottage, is also worth visiting.

The property was lovely and clean on arrival and had everything you could think of. It's in a very peaceful location with a lovely big garden. Great for an adult only relaxing holiday. Not In the ideal place if you have small children but it was still a wonderful time.
