Traditional, terraced Tenby cottage within 400 metres of the town and beaches. Tastefully decorated and restored throughout, this cottage offers comfortable, stylish holiday accommodation for a group.

Classic cottage good looks are embellished with interesting artistic touches and decor at this four-bed property in Tenby. Its location is the icing on the cake with the town centre, beach, train station and harbour all within 0.5 miles. With so much on offer, it’s the perfect base for an extended, multi-generational family group, a bunch of friends or even two small families holidaying together. There’s something for everyone, and space enough to get out from under everyone’s feet if you need a bit of time out.

This slightly quirky property offers all you’ll want or need – and more besides. Downstairs, the comfortable lounge has an elegant feel with relaxed seating around an ornamental fireplace. The open-plan kitchen/diner is a light and airy space with a table easily seating eight and a generous fitted kitchen to knock up those holiday feasts. Also downstairs is one king-size bedroom, with bags of storage and an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, there’s a further double and two twin bedrooms. They all have statement, individual decor with the occasional eccentric touch. Outside, there’s the added extra of an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture.

Tick things off your Tenby list as you go… medieval walls, a ruined castle and all four beaches: Castle, Harbour, North and South. Meander the old town’s streets, now home to bars, eateries, cafes and independent shops. In the warmer months, take advantage of angling boat trips or a trip to Caldey Island. Get a flavour of Tenby's past at the National Trust’s Tudor Merchant’s House and learn even more at the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery. Or, if you like the great outdoors, make some magical memories walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

It's a pleasant and roomy cottage, perfectly adequate for a group of 7 such as us. The only real drawback (though there's not much can be done about it) is parking, and the narrowness of the pavement at the front, which made use of a mobility scooter a bit stressful. Other than this it is in a very good location, and our holiday was thoroughly enjoRead moreyed (by three generations). Hide

Outside space is pretty grungy and overlooking a scruffy car park. Good location near town and beaches (easily walked). Beware cooking with Rayburn is tricky and really heats up the kitchen diner. In summer this would be very unwelcome!

Great location - easy walking distance into Tenby, really close to North Beach & the Harbour and close to main station and supermarkets. The feel of the place is cosy, lounge is comfortable and nice big dining table for family meals. The Rayburn cooker is tricky to use. There's also an electric hotplate & microwave (no instructions so be prepared tRead moreo Google makes & models). Vibe is shabby chic but teetering to shabby. Fine for 1 week. Overall ok but could be lovely with attention to detail. Hide
