This barn conversion with an enclosed garden and games room is perfect for friends and families to experience a holiday with the best of both worlds in West Wales: sumptuous countryside and a short drive to the coast.

Book a stay at this lovely, light-filled barn and while away the hours staring out at the glorious Welsh scenery. Nestled in 7 acres of scenic grounds, the handsome, stone-built holiday home is located at Dolgran, 6 miles from Llandysul, in West Wales. With three bedrooms, it sleeps six guests and also welcomes a pair of four-legged friends. Set tails wagging on picturesque walks from the front door or venture approximately 20 miles to reach the beautiful coast.

Wander inside to find character-filled accommodation, with exposed stone walls, revealed brickwork and an abundance of windows. Relax in the inviting lounge, where you can watch the Smart TV as the wood burner throws out a cosy glow. Stroll into the kitchen/diner, which has a vaulted ceiling. Open the doors onto the deck in here to bring a lovely breeze in as you cook dinner for your party, then gather around the table together. You also have a games room, where you can challenge each other to a table football tournament, plus a utility room and a family shower room on the ground floor. Make your way upstairs to find a king-size bedroom, a double and a twin. Enjoy both the decked terrace and the garden on warm days; take in the rural vistas and perhaps fire up the BBQ. There’s parking for three cars at the property, which is reached via a steep, narrow driveway.

Venture into Llandysul to go shopping and dine out or, for a greater choice, drive into Carmarthen, 11.5 miles away, where you can also spend time at the castle. For a day out at the beach, try Aberporth, 20 miles away, and look out for bottlenose dolphins while you are here. Or, drive 14.5 miles from the barn to see the beautiful Cenarth Falls.
