Kilgetty is a small town surrounded by peace and tranquillity with the option to visit other distinctive attractions in the nearby area. The ever-popular Folly Farm and Zoo is only a short drive away, either by car or bus, and you are sure to have a fun-filled family day out at this award-winning attraction. Pembrokeshire Laser Combat in Llanteg is around a 10-minute car ride away, as is Colby Woodland Garden near Amroth.

Take your time to explore the unique surroundings and enjoy the breath-taking views of the local landscape and the many walks around the area. Just a few miles from the beaches at Amroth and Wiseman’s Bridge and the coastal path, as well as many woodland and country walks. One such walk starts at Stepaside and takes you through Pleasant Valley, past the old Stepaside Colliery and Iron Works, and through peaceful woodland. The trail leads to Wisemans Bridge where you’ll find a popular pub serving delicious food and vast views of Carmarthen Bay.
