This delightful cottage is set on a quiet lane, just a short walk from local pubs and the water at Llanrhidian on the North Gower coast, a romantic retreat for couples, any time of the year.

Ideally located for memorable day trips together, explore the local wetlands, set out along the coastal path or splash in the surf on one of the nearby sandy beaches. Inside, this charming cottage has all the ingredients for cosy getaways for two. Rustle up romantic meals in the traditional kitchen while enjoying uninterrupted views of the church outside. Afterwards, curl up on the sofa and settle in for a peaceful evening beside the crackling wood burner. After a long soak in the bath, retire to the light and airy bedroom with its timber flooring and exposed beams. Outside, a delightful enclosed decked area is the perfect spot to share a pot of tea after a long walk.

A popular holiday destination for walkers, cyclists and surfers alike, the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers something for everyone. Guests on both two and four legs will delight in walks on the Wales Coast Path, which offers breathtaking scenery and interesting smells at every turn. Meanwhile, the saltwater wetlands of the Loughor estuary are a haven for wildlife. History buffs should visit Weobley Castle, just 1.5 miles from the property, while beach lovers will enjoy a stroll along the sands of Oxwich (6.5 miles), Port Eynon (7.5 miles) and Rhossili (9.5 miles). Closer to home, the picture-perfect village of Llanrhidian is home to a friendly pub and community shop.

Beautiful quirky cottage, a little tired in parts. Lovely village, very close to pub. Surrounding area has fantastic beaches, great for dog walking.

We had a great time at Holly Cottage. Great location for the Gower walks and beaches. Picturesque village and friendly people. Good pub with good food maybe 100 metres away. Certainly don't need to drive! Shop attached to Esso petrol station just up the road. Good for essentials, cold drinks etc. - and petrol [with air for tyres]. Lovely quaint traditional cottage in good village location. Within 2 mins walk of a popular pub serving food and quality ales. Only 2 minutes walk to Wales coast path and 10 minutes to the marshes.

The cottage is lovely and quaint with supplies of everything we needed. It must be great to have the pubs in the village open and be able to meet local people and eat out.

This is a lovely cottage, perfect for a couple for a few days away. The location is superb and the owners go to great lengths to think of everything you will need for your stay (including tea and biscuits)!

A nicely situated cottage in the Gower peninsula with lots of lovely walks. Cottage has a lovely view of the church and is only 200 yards from the local pub. The cottage itself is well equipped and clean.

This a lovely cottage in a beautiful village, very close to the north Gower coast and also within an easy drive of Rhossilli, Oxwich, Three Cliffs and all the other great beaches! Perfect for a couple looking for some great walks along the beach and nice evenings in very comfortable surroundings!

Clean and comfortable. Good quality furnishings and well-equipped - no excess of stuff but everything which was required. Decent TV with good wifi signal. Location was great close to pub if you have a dog there were plenty of walks Stairs in cottage were narrow so not suitable for the elderly
