A short drive from Aberystwyth, in the heart of Cardigan Bay, with the sea, river and vibrant town. The town is full of historic sites, museums, galleries, shops and restaurants, not forgetting the beach, marina, cliff railway and Wales’ only silver mine visitor attraction. Within easy reach you can enjoy dramatic waterfalls, take a trip on the steam train with the Vale of Rheidol Railway, explore the woods and countryside or try one of the many water sports on offer. The front door opens in to the spacious lounge/diner with a stone feature fireplace, open fire, TV, exposed beams and dining table. Through the door ahead is the kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The period Welsh dresser is full of crockery for everyone to enjoy a meal together. Through the kitchen and into the hall you will find the ground floor separate WC and the small double bedroom with a 4' queen-size bed with TV and en-suite wet room with shower and WC. Walk back through into the lounge/diner and turn left to the games room with piano, table football and a pool table. Upstairs on the first floor you can choose from a further five bedrooms, the lovely double bedroom with TV and en-suite shower room and WC, the large family room with a king-size bed and two additional single beds with TV and a spacious single bedroom. There is also a cosy double bedroom with TV and a further family bedroom with king-size bed and additional single bed with a walk in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room and WC. Enjoy a leisurely bath in the stylish bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Whatever the weather there is lots of space to enjoy a meal together, play board games, watch a film on the TV, maybe light the open fire, or test your skills in the games room.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the swim spa, read a book in the sun room or sit back in the enclosed garden with lawn area. There is also a covered gazebo, patio area with seating. Enjoy alfresco dining on the picnic benches or a morning coffee on the vista seating, unwind and embrace the fabulous uninterrupted countryside views from sunrise to sunset.

Lovely cottage with great hot tub, great views of steam train and red kits, very comfy beds and warm shower's, some issues that we informed the owners of that needed sorting but this didn't disrupt our holiday and hopefully will be sorted prior to anybody else's.

This property was ideal for the whole family to get away together for half term week. Although we filled the bedrooms, there was plenty of room for everyone including areas for the kids. The house suited our large family group of 4 generations very well - plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 little ones. The garden is idyllic and could have easily not left the property all week. House is a great size and central for many activities and areas. Outside space is good and pool is especially welcome feature . The house could do with a deep clean and some updating. This cottage was absolutely perfect for our 40th anniversary family get together, we had plenty of room with lots of facilities including the amazing hot tub! It's located in lovely surroundings with great views all around and not far from the town.we would definitely come again.

A beautiful, well situated farm house, secure and beautifully clean. A lot of little extras provided for your comfort, which saved us taking things like cleaning materials, towels and linen.

Fantastic property for a weekend away as a large group. Loved the games room and the main living space was really good for getting together/sitting down for meal etc. The kitchen was really well equipped and when we phoned to ask for help/extras, the host came over to assist. Only downside was the small bed in the downstairs bedroom, it said small Read moredouble on the description but really would only realistically sleep two children, not adults. Hide

Great size property and secure garden. The games room was a massive hit as was the hot tub. There is enough room to not feel overwhelmed when in a large group. Would definitely recommend this to a family or large group. We loved our time there and are seeing if we can return.

Excellent property. Great week. Lots to do. 10 minutes from supermarkets, 20 minutes from promenade. 10 minutes from butterfly house. Had to stay at property for 3days due to heatwave. Position of property is good garden area good for dogs. Umbrella on outdoor benches would be useful. Kitchen in need of a make over. We felt it slightly over priced in its present condition. We were a party of 11 enjoyed our stay . Little effort has been spent on maintenance of the property. Have stayed in better for far less money.

We loved our week stay & we want to book again soon. Host was brilliant & helpful. However it does feel like it needs an update, tidy up & good deep clean. Only minor things that would make the place so much better. Great area/location. Swim spa definitely made the difference whilst staying here.

3 years after booking we finally made it for our 40th holiday with all our family ( thanks covid!! ) The house has so much potential but is in need of a deep clean and a freshen up in some areas, mainly in the kitchen which was dirty on arrival but the host was quick to resolve our issues and helpful when we had problems.
