Fully Equipped Lodges for Holidays in Pembrokeshire

Heritage Park is a modern, purpose-built site comprising of beautifully crafted holiday lodges, and located in a tranquil setting beside the old Ironworks site in Stepaside. The lodges are perfect for romantic breaks, family holidays and last minute UK holidays, so if you are looking for a self-catering holiday in a rural retreat in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside, then Heritage Park is sure to fit the bill.

The Park is the result of an exciting redevelopment of the old industrial Stepaside Colliery and Iron Works site dating back to the early 1800s, set in the idyllic Pleasant Valley, near Stepaside. Just 6 miles from the popular coastal resort of Tenby, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park, this is the perfect location of short breaks or family holidays in picturesque countryside and just a short distance from the coast. A short woodland walk along the river takes you to the quiet coastal hamlet of Wisemans Bridge, with its sandy beach, seasonal shop and the very popular Wisemans Bridge Inn.

If what you seek for your family holiday is a blissful break in the serene beauty if the South West Wales countryside, then head to the picturesque village of Stepaside. Nestled within a quiet hamlet near the captivating coastline of Pembrokeshire and the sweeping hills of the rich rural landscape, Stepaside can offer the perfect retreat for those who want to experience the tranquil sounds of nature whilst relaxing in the surroundings of breathtaking scenery. Once the home of the old coal and ironworks, Stepaside flourishes in its history and will attract those who are keen to explore a forgotten world. See the ancient ruins of the works and delve into its industrial past.

The pretty seaside village of Saundersfoot is just three miles from Stepaside and provides another wonderful day out for the whole family. The quaint gift shops and delightful cafes and restaurants, making it very popular with both old and young alike and its charming harbour offers a picturesque setting in which to sit and watch the boats or enjoy a fishing trip out into the bay – a great day out for the whole family. A path along the old tram line from Wisemans Bridge through to Coppet Hall via the old tunnels and on to Saundersfoot is a very pleasant walk.

So, for a beautiful country location close to the coast, Heritage Park is the perfect choice for peaceful holidays and short breaks in Pembrokeshire.
