Tranquil, two-bedroom, detached barn conversion set within acres of private land far from the madding crowd, with plenty of walks, wildlife and fishing available straight from your door.

Admire ever-changing scenery from within the comfort of your own home when staying in this undisturbed rural cottage. Situated within a fantastic 70 acres of land made up of woodlands, grazing fields and waters for fishing, this holiday home offers you the chance to truly immerse yourself in country life here in South Wales. Sleeping four guests and two dogs, the space couldn't be better for any group of friends hoping to escape the trappings of modern-day life or a small family with children who are eager to get stuck into farmyard living.

Boasting a traditional stone facade, this cosy cottage will impress from the moment you arrive. Step inside to find two generous spaces to unwind on the ground floor. The first of these spaces is an open-plan lounge/diner with a wood burner for keeping warm when the cold sets in, and the second is a cheerful sunroom where birdwatching and admiring the scenery offers plenty in the way of entertainment. You can also step out front to spend time in the courtyard garden, perfect for dining together outside. Finally, find two generous king-size bedrooms laid out across the ground and first floors.

Stay within the grounds of the estate and find plenty to see and do. Younger visitors may wish to head out and spot alpacas and sheep grazing on the fields, whilst teenagers and adults can challenge each other to fish out a catch of the day for dinner. Enjoy a relaxing walk around the woodlands before stopping by a nearby tearoom (0.5 miles) for an afternoon treat. Further afield you’ll find the fabulous coastal national park of Pembrokeshire within 25 miles. Jump in the car for an afternoon on Saundersfoot Beach (15 miles).

Lovely cottage and location. The website info about the track up to the cottage shouldnt put you off as our car is quite low and we drove carefully/ slowly without problem.
