Part of a complex of delightful holiday lodges, this charming property makes a fantastic retreat for a family or couple seeking a quiet escape close to Cardigan Bay. Just a couple of miles from the bustling seaside resort of New Quay, this light, fresh and welcoming lodge makes a perfect getaway for four guests. Ideally situated for keen walkers, cyclists and nature lovers exploring the stunning countryside of West Wales, this relaxing holiday home offers access to an array of on-site facilities including children’s play areas, shared grounds and a clubhouse with a pub and restaurant.

Entering this lodge, the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a tastefully decorated and sweetly furnished living space for you to unwind in. The pretty lounge is ideal for sitting back with a good book or favourite movie, while the dining area is perfect for sharing a family meal which you can enjoy cooking in the stylishly designed kitchen. Exploring this cosy lodge further, there are two soothing bedrooms: an en-suite double and a twin, each with TV/DVD. The lodge also offers a handy family bathroom. Outside, a decked area with outdoor furniture runs around the lodge, leading down to an additional patio, providing a choice of locations for dining alfresco. The shared grounds also feature a friendly clubhouse and children’s play area.

The lodge enjoys a sheltered woodland setting just outside the popular coastal town of New Quay (2 miles). This welcoming resort is home to a beautiful beach, picturesque harbour, the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre and a wide variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. The town is also known for its Dylan Thomas Trail, and there are plenty of great coastal and rural walks to follow. Inland, attractions include Llanerchaeron (7 miles) and Cae Hir Gardens (10 miles).

We have spent a lovely holiday at Foxy Lodge, it was so comfortable and spotlessly clean everything we needed. Mel called us when we arrived to make sure everything was ok and was only a phone call away if we had any problems. Woodlands Lodge retreat was a lovely peaceful site.It was our first visit to West Wales and we enjoyed exploring the are anRead mored finding new places. Foxy Lodge is a lovely, comfortable lodge situated in a pleasant spot. Spotlessly clean and well equipped and maintained. The goodies left for ourselves and our dog were much appreciated. The holiday park is small, which suited us, and again well maintained despite some new lodges being installed. The park is ideal to explore the beautiful coastlinRead moree and beaches. Lovely break at Foxy Lodge - we loved the lodge and site as did our dog Woody. Easy reach of New Quay where we spent most days paddleboarding and dolphin watching. Thank you Mel and Chris.

A beautiful and homely lodge. Cleanliness was second to none! No trace of other people or pooches - AMAZING! The lodge was so well equipped, when we needed something in the kiitchen, we found it! Big enough for 3 adults and 1 teenager. Our maltese was also made to feel very welcome too. Very pleased with the lodge which matched the description. Immaculately clean and well equipped. Site is quite small and intimate. Very quiet and peaceful. Foxy lodge, was a beautifully equipped lodge set in a glorious area, woodlands retreat is very well cared for and quite stunning, A must, for anybody, looking for somewhere to stay in West Wales, beach is virtually down the road, highly recommended for anybody looking for a quiet serene holiday, nanny, thanks to Mel and Chris

A very well furnished lodge with great attention to detail, and spotlessly clean. The lodge is in a great location, and I would also recommend "The Escape" for friendly service good food and great value for money.

Wow, wow and wow, what an absolutely stunning lodge, from the welcome pack on arrival to the lovely furnishings. Home from home is an understatement it is much more. Location for exploring the area is excellent and a lovely walk within the sight. Hope to return very soon.

Lovely week at Foxy Lodge. It was a real home from home. The lodge is very comfortable and has all the equipment you could need, including outdoor seating front and back, plenty of towels, lovely comfy beds. My teen daughter loved the fact the TV had Netflix and hubby loved the recliner chairs. The location was perfect for us and the site was nice Read moreand peaceful. A lovely spotlessly clean, well-equipped and very comfortable lodge in a good location. We enjoyed the peace out on the private decking and a drink in the quiet bar just across way. New Quay and Cei bach are just a short drive away where we had good food (the Blue Bell), a dolphin spotting boat trip and swimming from the beaches.

The cottage was very comfortable and the owners contacted us to make sure we were happy with everything when we arrived. The site is well maintained and peaceful and the bus stop right outside was useful also.

Foxy Lodge is very comfortable and clean and is on a very pretty site. The lodge had everything we needed. New Quay is very pretty but we couldnt walk from the site as the road Is quite busy and there isnt a path along part of the road. A car is essential to explore the area. We had a lovely holiday and can recommend staying at Foxy Lodge.

Lovely tranquil site surrounded by trees and an abundance of wildlife.The accommodation is spacious, well equipped and comfortable.On the downside some of the facilities are not yet completed the shop and cinema will be opening when finished.There is an onsite cafe and bar run by helpful friendly people nothing was too much trouble for them.Having Read moreyour own transport is essential especially if elderly or disabled due to the hilly nature of the area but would thoroughly recommend. Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting, everything you need is provided, nice decking area for eating outdoors. Spent hours watching the bird life, so peaceful and relaxing. Also directly close to the friendly quiet bar which was a great bonus.
