Make your way into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its French windows looking onto the front garden that can be opened up on summer mornings. Switch on the TV or settle down to a DVD after a long day out on the beach; prepare tasty homecooked meals in the kitchen area and then dine together at the table. Find you also have a useful cloakroom for storing outerwear and a downstairs shower room. Take a 1-mile or so stroll along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to Giltar Point or pack a picnic and make the 5-mile hike to Saundersfoot.
